I used to get into real debates and learn new stuff daily, but now it's just the same five arguments rehashed. It feels like after the big platform redesign, everyone just posts for quick reactions instead of actual talk. Anyone else notice this shift or is it just my feed?

Oh COME ON, y'all are romanticizing the past way too hard. The forum was ALWAYS full of repetitive nonsense and bad faith arguments, you just didn't notice because you were knee deep in it. I've been around since the old phpBB days and I can tell you the "quality" back then was people screaming about pineapple on pizza and whether The Last Jedi was a crime against humanity. The redesign didn't ruin anything, it just changed the interface while the exact same tired debates keep going.
