DAE feel like gadget reviews skip over the stuff that actually matters?

Honestly, I bought a new e-reader after reading a ton of reviews about screen sharpness. Tbh, none of them mentioned how heavy it was to hold for long. Ngl, my hand gets tired after twenty minutes. Now I wish more reviews talked about comfort instead of just tech specs. It really changed what I look for in a review.

See it differently from @fisher.diana. Comfort is personal, so many reviews just touch on it lightly. They stick to hard numbers because feelings vary too much.

You said none of the reviews mentioned the weight, but some actually do talk about that under "ergonomics" or "comfort." I mean, it's usually just a quick line though, like "it feels solid." They never really go into what it's like to hold for an hour while reading in bed, which is what actually matters. Maybe it's just me, but I've started looking for video reviews where you can see them holding it.

Totally agree with @fisher.diana. Video reviews are key for this stuff. You need to see someone actually holding the device to get a real sense of it. Written reviews just list specs and miss the actual user experience. Weight and balance make a huge difference in daily use.
