Just hit 100 failed fridge experiments and I'm weirdly proud
So I was cleaning out my fridge today and found a jar of pickled watermelon rinds next to a half-used tube of wasabi paste and some leftover coconut milk. It hit me that this is probably my 100th weird combo that never became a real meal, lol. I started keeping a list on my phone after the 'kimchi and peanut butter smoothie' incident six months ago. Most of these happen because I see a recipe online, buy one weird thing, and then forget the rest. This time I was trying to make some kind of tropical salsa for fish tacos, but I got distracted and ordered pizza. Honestly, hitting triple digits feels like a milestone for my chaotic cooking style. Has anyone else accidentally collected this many random fridge ingredients?

You said you started the list after the kimchi smoothie incident, but that's not quite right. Your post says that was six months ago, but you just hit 100 experiments. In my experience, you'd have to be making a failed combo almost every other day to hit that number that fast.
