Hit 50k in the bank and realized I don't need to say yes to every terrible client anymore.

That number finally gave me the breathing room to fire the client who always paid late and nitpicked every invoice, which felt amazing (and honestly, a little scary).

Wasn't that scary feeling just the best kind of scary? Hitting a number that lets you say no changes everything. I started rating clients on how much stress they caused versus what they paid, and fired the ones at the bottom. That space you just made? It gets filled with better work, or honestly, just time to breathe.
