Shoutout to my slow cooker for foundry meal prep
I use a slow cooker to cook big batches of food on my days off. It's so easy and I always have a hot meal ready after a shift. What kitchen tools do you rely on?

My roommate in college had a slow cooker gathering dust on top of the fridge. I always thought it was a hassle for just one person. But when I tried it for meal prep, I was wrong. Cooking a whole chicken with veggies while I was at work changed everything. Now I use it every Sunday to make lunches for the week.

You hit on something I've noticed a lot lately, where our kitchen tools are basically time machines that give us back our evenings. I'm pretty tied to my instant pot for the same reason, it just makes big meals easy without the fuss. It's wild how much mental space frees up when you're not stressed about dinner.
