My buddy told me to always check the curb on bulk trash day in my neighborhood, and yesterday I scored a perfectly good office chair.
He said the best stuff gets put out on the first Thursday of the month, and sure enough, I found a Herman Miller Aeron just sitting there with a 'free' sign on it.

Checking the curb on bulk days is a legit strategy lol. My neighbor tossed out a Steelcase Leap that just needed a quick wipe down. Feels like winning the lottery when you find good stuff for free.

What changed your mind? I used to think they were just overpriced office chairs. Then I sat in one for a full workday at a friend's place. My back didn't hurt at all, which never happens. It's a different kind of comfortable you have to experience.
