Found a busted wooden chair on 4th Street and gave it a go with some wood glue

The back leg was totally snapped off, but I had some Titebond III left from another project. I clamped it up for a full day, and it's actually solid now (I'm sitting on it right now). I learned that a lot of curb furniture is just one good fix away from being useful again. Has anyone else had a simple repair turn a trash find into a keeper?

Remember my friend salvaging a water-damaged dresser left out in the rain. Honestly, the drawers were swollen shut and it looked hopeless. She dried it out for a week, sanded the sticking parts, and now it's her favorite piece, kinda like how @dianab68 fixed that table. Tbh it's wild what people throw out that just needs a bit of patience and glue.

My neighbor fixed three chairs like @cole_bailey85's friend.

Nice! I fixed a wobbly coffee table the same way, lol.
