Rant: I had to pick between deleting a weird video or keeping it for proof
Found a clip on an old hard drive from a rest stop camera I used to have in my rig. It showed something moving in the woods behind the truck, but the quality was bad. I could either delete it to save space or keep the file. I kept it, and after showing it to a buddy, he pointed out the shape didn't match any animal we know around there. Has anyone else held onto a video that just gets weirder the more you look?

Classic move, saving the weird file. Now you're stuck staring at a blurry cryptid instead of just having more room for cat videos.

My old laptop had a folder called "what is this" with 47 mystery screenshots. I finally went through them last month and it was just pictures of my own thumb, bad memes from 2016, and one truly terrifying close-up of my friend's chin. I feel your pain, oliviadixon, because I could have had so many more dog pictures instead. That blurry cryptid is probably just a picture of a trash bag in a tree, but now you're stuck with it forever. My new rule is if I don't know what it is in two seconds, it gets deleted immediately.
