Stopped into a used record shop in Portland last week and noticed something strange

The owner had a whole bin of forgotten 90s alt rock albums for a dollar each. I grabbed a copy of an album I loved in high school and the cashier said nobody's asked for that title in at least 5 years. Has anyone else stumbled across a bin like that where solid albums just sit unloved?

I ended up digging through a dollar bin at a shop in Austin and found a mint copy of a Jawbreaker album nobody wanted. Walked out with like 10 discs for ten bucks and felt like I won the lottery.

Nobody's asked for that title in at least 5 years" - damn, that hits hard. Makes you realize how fast great music gets forgotten.
