My old CD player ate my copy of 'The Unforgettable Fire' last week

I was trying to play my original 1984 U2 CD and the tray just jammed shut with it inside. Had to take the whole thing apart with a screwdriver from my garage in Austin. Now I'm hunting for another copy and it made me remember how much I loved that album before they got huge. Anyone have a lead on where to find old CDs that won't get stuck?

Taking apart your CD player with a garage screwdriver... that's the most rock and roll thing I've heard all week. Maybe your player just really, really loved that album.

Hah, been there! I fixed mine by giving the laser lens a careful wipe with a cotton swab. Sometimes a speck of dust just locks the whole thing up.
