Honestly, my dad was humming a song from 'The Hissing of Summer Lawns' the other day and I had no clue what it was.
Tbh I looked it up and it's a Joni Mitchell album from 1975 that nobody in my friend group has ever heard of. Has anyone else found a forgotten record through a random family moment like that?

Totally get that. Found my dad's old Warren Zevon tapes the same way.

Finding old tapes like that is a trip. My dad's stuff was all hair metal, so I got a crash course in spandex and bad life choices. At least Warren Zevon had some decent songs in there. Makes you wonder what our kids will dig up from our old hard drives. Probably a bunch of memes they won't even get.
