My local grocery store is selling 'fresh' bouquets that are clearly 10 days old and it's making us all look bad

Ever notice how the water in those vases gets all cloudy and the leaves start to droop? I saw one last week where the carnation heads were practically nodding off the stems... makes you wonder if they're just cycling the same sad stock from the back cooler every few days.

Ugh, totally. It's like the flower version of those sad, wrinkled peppers in the grocery store produce section. Just a general vibe of things being past their prime everywhere.
