Had a 12x14 room with a concrete slab that was way out of level, took me three full days to grind it flat.

The floor had a 2-inch dip in the center and my usual self-leveler wasn't gonna cut it. I had to rent a big grinder and it was just dust and noise forever... what's your go-to method for a bad slab when you're on a tight schedule?

Grinding a bad slab is brutal, I'd just pour a thick self-leveler over the low spot first to save time.

My buddy tried to grind a slab like that once. He said the dust got into everything, even his lunch. Now he just builds up the low spots first with a quick-set patch.
