PSA: I used to check my investments every day until I set up automatic rebalancing
I was obsessively logging into my Vanguard account every morning, like 7am before work, and it was driving me crazy. Then about 6 months ago I set up quarterly automatic rebalancing with a 60/40 stock bond split across my three funds. Now I only look at my portfolio once a season and honestly my returns are more stable and I sleep way better. Has anyone else tried a hands off approach like that or are you still watching the numbers daily?

Wait until you accidentally set it to rebalance into crypto and wake up to your entire 401k in Doge. Real talk though, I went full hands off last year and it was the best financial decision I ever made. Now the only numbers I obsess over are my credit card points which is its own separate problem. Crazy how much less stress you feel when you stop watching that red line dip every morning.
