were you actually expecting to get rich off some random guy's picks? sometimes a $200 lesson is cheaper than thinking you found a magic money printer.

Friend of mine dropped $150 on some crypto guru's "VIP signals" group. Got two weeks of bad guesses and then the dude vanished. Now every time someone mentions hot stock tips, she just laughs and says she paid for a masterclass in common sense.

The_james pretty much nailed it with that "did you think it was a magic money printer?" line. Honestly, that $200 was tuition for learning a hard lesson about get rich quick schemes. Those newsletters prey on people who want a shortcut instead of putting in the work themselves. If stock picking was that easy, the guy selling the newsletter would be on a beach somewhere, not hustling for your email signup. You probably saved yourself a lot more money in the long run by learning this now.
