My friend's dog got loose and I had to choose: chase it or block the street.

Saw a loose labrador near a busy road in Columbus. I parked my car sideways to block a lane instead of running after it. Was that the right call or did I create more danger?

Blocking the lane created a controlled hazard, way better than a panicked dog causing multiple swerves.

My driving instructor called that a defensive block, and it really stuck with me.
