I found a wallet with $80 in it at the grocery store last Tuesday and the whole thing got me thinking.

I handed it in at the customer service desk like you're supposed to, but I spent the rest of the day wondering if anyone would have done the same for me, especially since I saw the cash and a local address inside.

Honestly, I did the exact same thing with a phone I found at the park. Turned it in to the rec center and everything. Tbh, I kept checking my own phone for days, half expecting some karma to come back my way, but nothing. It still bugs me a little, wondering if I just made some stranger's whole week or if they didn't even care.
