Switched from manual extractions to a hydrafacial machine last month and the difference is wild
I used to do manual extractions for every client, but after a stubborn case of perioral dermatitis took 4 weeks to calm down, I invested in a HydraFacial MD machine. The vortex suction is way gentler and I haven't had a single post-treatment flare-up since. Has anyone else made a similar switch and seen better results with sensitive skin types?

My old spa still uses manual and their results last way longer. Machines can't match the feel of a skilled hand for deep congestion.

My dermatologist in Chicago switched to a HydraFacial machine last year. The consistent suction pressure actually gets deeper than manual extractions. My pores stayed clear for almost two months after one session. That manual feel can miss spots a machine maps perfectly.

That's a solid point from jordan653 about the machine mapping. The tech is crazy good now. But a really skilled person with their hands can feel things the machine might not see. It probably comes down to who's doing it more than what tool they use.
