My steamer gave out right before a big facial appointment yesterday. Had to improvise with hot towels and a bowl of boiling water.

Ugh, that's the worst timing. My friend had her steamer die mid-use and just had to sit with a hot washcloth on her face for ten minutes. @the_zara might be onto something with the towel method, but it's not the same, right?
