Just logged my 500th service call on a 20-year-old Dover Miconic system. That number hit me harder than I expected.

That's a crazy number... makes you think about all the little things adding up over two decades. Was it mostly the same few problems coming back, like bad door locks or floor selector issues, or did you see it all slowly change and wear out piece by piece?

Used to think these old systems were just a list of parts waiting to fail. Hitting a number like that shows you it's a whole story. You're not just fixing the same board or lock over and over, you're watching a machine live its entire life. Changes how you see every service call after that.
