Used to strip NM-B with my side cutters, now I just buy the Klein auto strippers

For years I'd grab my side cutters and try to peel that outer jacket without nicking the inner wires. Always took forever and sometimes I'd mess up the ground. Then about 6 months ago I picked up those Klein Kurve auto strippers for like $30 at the supply house. You just squeeze and pull, one clean strip. Has anyone else found a tool that saved them that much time on rough-ins?

Brother I feel this on a spiritual level. Used to do the whole "side cutters and a prayer" thing for years too, ended up nicking so many hot wires I shoulda just bought a lottery ticket. Then picked up the Klein autos last month and honestly felt dumb for not doing it sooner. Made a joke to my foreman that my grandpa would probably disown me for using them since he did everything with his teeth and linesmans. Now I just gotta remember to actually put them back in my pouch instead of leaving them on a live panel, you know how it goes.

Grab a set of those magnetic tool holders for your pouch straps, @david821, I slapped one on my belt and now my Kleins don't wander off mid job. Saves you hunting through panels for your stuff after lunch.
