Oh man, that sounds about right. I tried to fix a small hole in my drywall last month and it turned into a whole weekend project. Once you start, you find ten more things wrong with it. What kind of crack was it, just a drywall seam or something worse?

Remember my friend's drywall crack, @paige870? It was just a seam, but pulling it revealed a whole nest of wiring issues from a bad old repair.
