Wasted $250 on a fancy silt curtain that tore on day 3

I bought this heavy duty silt curtain from a big supplier thinking it would save me time on my harbor dredging job. Got it installed last Monday and by Wednesday a rip showed up along the bottom seam. Called the company and they said it was normal wear and tear, no refund. Should have just stitched together two cheaper ones like the old timers told me. Anyone dealt with a supplier that actually backs their gear?

Try Vermont Tethers, they replaced a torn curtain for me no questions asked.

Oh man, that's rough! I totally feel for you, dealing with a torn curtain is the worst (especially if it's a rental, double the headache). @jamesmason that's really good to know about Vermont Tethers, I've heard their customer service is pretty solid for stuff like that. I had a similar issue with a shower curtain liner once and the company basically told me to kick rocks, so hearing about a place that actually backs up their stuff is refreshing. I hope you get it sorted without too much hassle.
