Rant: People keep using the wrong drill bits for concrete anchors
I see folks grabbing standard masonry bits for wedge anchors in their garage floors, and it's a recipe for a loose, dangerous install. The hole ends up too big because they don't use the exact size bit the anchor specs call for, like a 1/2 inch anchor needing a 1/2 inch bit, not a 5/8. What's your go-to method for getting that perfect fit?

My first garage project was a disaster. I used a cheap hammer drill and a worn out bit to mount a workbench. The anchor spun right out like a top. Now I just follow the damn chart on the box to the letter, and I mark my bits with tape so I don't grab the wrong size.

Been there... that spinning anchor feeling is the worst. It's crazy how much a fresh bit and the right size actually matters. Following the chart seems obvious but you really do learn the hard way. Marking bits is a solid move, saves so much headache later.
