The guy who told me I was ruining airflow with my intake fans
At a local LAN party last month, some dude watched me finish my custom loop build and said I had my three front intakes fighting my two top exhausts, creating dead zones inside the case. He showed me his thermal camera readings proving a 7 degree difference just by flipping one top fan. Do you trust the generic airflow rules or do you test your own setup before locking in your fan layout?

Yeah I read somewhere that Gamers Nexus did a whole deep dive on this and basically said positive pressure with the right fan curve beats everything else every time. Have you ever actually pointed a thermal camera at your own rig though? It's wild how different real world results can be from the theory.

Real world results being different from theory" hits close to home. My case is the one where I spent hours on fan curves and then realized I left the plastic peel on the tempered glass. Thermal camera would probably just show me crying reflected in the glass.
