Vent: My cheap tile saw blade cost me a whole weekend and $200 in wasted marble
Tried to save $40 by getting a no-name blade for my wet saw when redoing the bathroom. It chipped every single 12x24 marble tile on the first cut, ruining 8 pieces. Had to order more tile and wait another week, pushing my whole reno back. Anyone have a blade brand they trust for natural stone that won't break the bank?

That first cut chipping everything is exactly what happened to me with a cheap blade and some porcelain tile. I switched to a DeWalt continuous rim blade and it was night and day, doesn't have to be super expensive but get one meant for stone. Save yourself the headache and just spend the extra $30-40 upfront.

Wait, it chipped all eight tiles on the very first cut? That's brutal. Honestly sounds like the blade was wobbling right out of the box. Tbh I'd be so mad about losing a whole weekend like that.

Yeah gotta disagree on the blade wobble being the main issue. Seen this a ton with cheap tiles. If the tile body is weak or has a bad glaze, even a perfect blade will blow out the edge. That first cut puts all the stress right on that line. Honestly, a wobbly blade usually just makes a messy cut, not chip every single tile in a set. More likely the material just couldn't handle it.
