Thought texture mods were overrated until I tried one on Fallout 4 last night

I always figured vanilla graphics were fine and people who download 4K tree retextures were just wasting disk space. Then I grabbed a simple texture pack for the roads and buildings in Diamond City. The difference was actually nuts. It didn't need any coding or tools, just drag and drop into the Data folder. Made the game feel fresh without touching any gameplay. Anyone else find a single mod that changed their mind on the whole scene?

See it differently. Little changes add up over time and some of us actually notice the subtle stuff.
