Paid $25 for a save editor that a free notepad trick does better

Picked up a fancy save editor for Stardew Valley last week to tweak my farm layout, but it kept crashing on my 4 year old laptop. Found a forum post showing you can just open the file in Notepad and change the coordinates by hand, took me 10 minutes and did exactly what I wanted. Anyone else drop cash on a tool that a simple text edit could handle the whole time?

Wait, you PAID twenty five dollars for something Notepad can do for free? That's WILD to me. I mean, I get it, those fancy editors look all shiny with their drag and drop interfaces, but come on. I once paid thirty bucks for a mod manager for Skyrim that just reorganized my load order, and it broke my game worse than if I'd just moved the files myself. Your story is even better though because Notepad has been on every Windows computer since forever, like it's not even a hidden gem, it's just there.
