Found a hidden armor stat in Fallout 4 I never knew existed
I was messing around in xEdit the other night looking at some armor mods and noticed that certain pieces have a hidden "weight class" tag that affects movement speed way more than the displayed weight number. It was buried in a subcategory called "DATA - Armor" that I always ignored before. Has anyone else found weird hidden stats like this in other Bethesda games?

Found that same weight class tag in Skyrim's armor records, it's crazy how much it impacts sneak speed.

Heavy armor is the worst for sneaking, it's like the game punishes you for looking cool lol. Leather is the way to go if you want to move quiet and fast. I always just level up light armor perks early on for that exact reason.
