Changed my mind about reshade presets after visiting Nexus

I always thought reshade was just for making games look washed out with fake bloom. Then I downloaded a preset someone made for Skyrim that actually fixed the lighting in dark caves without ruining the outdoors. Has anyone else found a preset that improved gameplay visibility instead of just looks?

Oh man, same here. I spent like three hours tweaking a Doom preset just so I could actually see enemies in dark corners instead of getting my face melted by surprise... turns out I just needed to turn off my own lens flare.

Wait, I saw a Digital Foundry video saying turning off lens flare helps aim accuracy in shooters.
