I used to think cafe camping was fine until a local owner set me straight

I would sit for hours with just a cheap drink. Hearing how it hurts small businesses in places I travel changed my view. Now I buy more or leave after a reasonable time.

Last summer in Portland I saw a cafe with a 90 minute table limit sign.

Ugh, that's the worst. Saw the same thing at a brunch spot in Seattle. They had a tiny sign by the sugar packets. Felt so rushed trying to finish my coffee. Like, I get it's busy, but just let people sit.
