Am I the only one who spent 3 days fixing a simple internet issue in Bali?
I landed in Canggu last month and my Airbnb had TERRIBLE wifi. I thought it was just bad signal so I bought a local SIM card and tried hotspotting. That was even worse after 2 hours of fighting with activation. Then I realized the router was in a closet behind a metal door blocking everything. Took me 72 total hours of lost work time to figure out something that simple. Has anyone else wasted days on something dumb like this?

Wait, the cleaning lady turned off the power strip? That's brutal.

Pulled my hair out for almost two whole days in Ubud over the same thing! I got so frustrated I even climbed up on the roof thinking the antenna was broken. Turns out my villa had the router plugged into a power strip that was turned off by the cleaning lady. I literally laughed when I found the switch, then cried a little inside thinking about all the work I missed.
