Melted my whole ad account budget at a local coffee shop in Austin

I was sitting at Cosmic Coffee in Austin last month running Facebook ads for a small client. I got distracted by some friends and let a campaign run on autopilot for like 4 hours. When I checked back I had blown through $850 of a $1000 monthly budget on one ad set that was targeting the wrong audience. The worst part was the coffee shop had spotty wifi so I couldnt even pause it fast enough. That experience made me swear off managing ad accounts from anywhere but my home office with a wired connection. Now I set hard daily and account level caps on everything before I even hit launch. Has anyone else lost serious money just from a bad wifi signal or getting distracted?

Oh man $850 gone in 4 hours that's brutal. Cosmic's wifi is honestly the worst for getting work done there.
