Hit 10,000 email subscribers last month and it felt weird

I've been running a small digital marketing blog for about 18 months. Last month I crossed 10,000 subscribers on my email list. What surprised me is that most of them came from one guest post I did on a site called Backlinko back in February. Has anyone else seen a single piece of content carry most of your growth?
