Visited a coffee shop in Portland and noticed something odd about their wifi login page

I stopped by a small cafe downtown last Saturday to grab a latte and check some emails. The barista handed me the wifi password on a little card, but when I typed it in, the landing page was just a giant photo of a cat with the words "drink more coffee" underneath. No terms of service, no email capture, nothing. I asked the guy at the counter about it, and he said it was a joke by the owner and they never bothered to change it. Has anyone else run into a weirdly simple or funny website setup at a local business?

Call me cynical but that sounds like a lazy owner just giving up. Its a security risk too since anyone can hop on without even clicking a button. Props for the cat photo though, beats a boring login wall.
