My tablet froze mid-stream during a big art reveal

I was live on Twitch showing a new character design when my screen just locked up, right as I was about to show the final piece. I had to quickly switch to my phone camera pointed at my monitor to finish the stream, which looked awful lol. Has anyone else had their main tool totally fail during a presentation?

Honestly, calling the phone camera setup "awful" feels a bit harsh. I've seen streams where that kind of quick fix actually adds a cool, raw vibe to the reveal. The panic and recovery is part of the live story. My old webcam died once mid-stream and I had to do the same thing, and folks in chat said it felt more real.

But did the art still look good? I'd be more upset about the timing than how it looked on stream.
