My art hit 1000 likes on a single piece for the first time
I posted a digital painting of a rainy Tokyo street scene on my main account and woke up to that number. It was a piece I almost didn't finish because I thought the reflections looked messy (I used a lot of custom brushes in Procreate). That kind of response makes you think maybe your own taste isn't totally off. Has anyone else hit a number that made you rethink what you're making?

A thousand likes is cool, but it's just one post. I wouldn't let it change your whole style.

Totally see this happening all the time, like when a quiet person tells one joke and suddenly everyone expects them to be a comedian. People get one big reaction and then feel stuck trying to copy it forever. It's so easy to chase that same high instead of just posting what you actually feel like. That pressure to perform can ruin the fun of just sharing stuff online.
