Hot take: my first digital art from 3 years ago looks like a mess now
I found an old Wacom sketch I made in 2022 last week and the proportion on the face was totally off. Back then I thought it was gallery worthy because I finally got the shading right. Anyone else cringe looking at their old stuff from just a few years back?

oh man, the shading really does carry the whole thing lmao. i remember i did a portrait where the ear was like twice the size it should've been but i blended the skin tones so smooth i thought it was perfect. now i look back and the anatomy is just... yikes. idk maybe it's just me but that cringe feeling is kinda a good sign though, means you've actually leveled up.

gallery worthy" hits different when you zoom in now. The shading hid everything else.
