Had to choose between posting my piece or staying quiet about the stolen art
A month ago I found one of my digital paintings on a popular print site, sold by someone else. I had two choices: report it and expose myself to a long fight, or let it slide and keep making art. I picked reporting it, mostly because I had a timestamped file from March 2023 and the seller's page had zero proof of creation. The platform took the listing down in 6 days, but the process made me realize how many creators just swallow the anger. I also started watermarking every upload since, even the WIP shots I share here. Has anyone else fought a stolen piece and had the site actually side with them? I'm curious if that result was normal or just luck.
