A stranger's critique about my color palette changed my whole workflow
Posted a piece on a Discord server last month and someone said my shadows were all the same purple, looked flat. I started checking my values in grayscale before adding hue. Now I spend maybe 20 extra minutes per piece but everything reads better, especially on phone screens. Anyone else get one comment that stuck with them for weeks?
I had someone point out my lighting was always coming from the same side and it messed with my head for like two weeks lol. Now I flip the canvas and it catches so much I used to miss.
