Missing the days when I-25 exit signs made sense

I swear the 2003 renumbering of exits in Denver still confuses people, my buddy missed his 210 off-ramp twice last week because the old number is burned in his head. Anyone else just ignore the new signs and count mile markers like it's 1999 still?

People act like the renumbering ruined their lives but it's been over 20 years now. Your buddy missed his exit twice because he wasn't paying attention, not because the signs are out to get him. Mile markers change too when roads get rebuilt, so counting those like it's 1999 isn't some magic fix. At some point you just gotta learn the new numbers, it's not that hard.
