Unpopular opinion: those "free shipping" codes arent always the best deal
I was at Target last month buying a new air fryer for $89 and found a 15% off coupon online. But I ignored the free shipping code everyone uses because shipping was only $6 anyway. Turned out the 15% coupon saved me $13.35 while the free shipping code only saved me the $6, so I came out ahead by $7.35. Does anyone else actually math out the discount instead of just grabbing the first code you see?

Nice you actually did the math on that one...

lol that reminds me of the time I bought a $200 espresso machine on Amazon and spent an hour stacking coupon codes. I ended up using some random 10% off one that nobody talks about and saved like $20, but then I forgot to check if there was a lower price elsewhere. My wife was like "you spent an hour to save $20?" and I was like "it's the principle of the thing." Now I always check both the coupon and shipping costs because sometimes the free shipping code is just a trap for people who don't do the math.
