Always rolled my eyes at rubber spatula hype until I used one to scrape a jar clean
My wife bought one of those $8 silicone spatulas from the kitchen supply store last month and I laughed at her. Figured it was just another gimmick. Then I watched her scrape out every last bit of peanut butter from a jar without leaving a smear. I tried it on a honey jar and got probably an extra two tablespoons out. That thing paid for itself in 4 jars. Anyone else get schooled by a simple kitchen tool they swore was useless?

Did you ever try it on something sticky like marshmallow fluff? Because that was my moment too. I always thought those rubber spatulas were just for people who were too lazy to get a spoon. But then I had this half full jar of Nutella that I was about to throw away. My kid grabbed the spatula and scraped out enough for three sandwiches. I felt like an idiot for wasting all that chocolate over the years. Now I keep one in every drawer just in case.

Read somewhere that spatulas save families from wasting like half their condiments.
