Used to rely on my memory for passwords until I locked myself out of my bank account in Denver last fall
I had this whole system of reusing a few passwords with slight tweaks (you know, adding a number or symbol). But then I got locked out of my account at 2am after too many failed attempts, and the bank's customer service was closed until 8am. Now I'm a total convert to Bitwarden (the free version) and have 47 unique passwords saved. Has anyone else had a late-night lockout that finally pushed them to use a password manager?

47 passwords means you're one forgotten master password away from real disaster.

Made that mistake once. Lost access to a whole chunk of my life for about a week until I finally remembered it. Spent that whole week just staring at my lock screen like it might magically let me back in.
