That old wifi password issue ate up 2 hours of my Friday night

Spent ages trying to connect my Roku to the guest network at my friend's place. Turned out they had MAC filtering on and never told me. Anyone else deal with friends who set up security but forget to explain it?

Two hours over a wifi password issue? Sounds like a minor inconvenience dressed up as a major tragedy. Maybe just call your friend first next time instead of diving into network settings alone. Pretty sure most of us have wasted time on tech hiccups that would've been solved with a quick text.

Hold up, TWO HOURS? @tessa_roberts1 that's wild. I spent like 45 minutes once trying to connect my laptop to a public library wifi before realizing I was typing in the password for my own home network. Felt like a total dummy lol. But two hours is next level dedication, you must've been really locked in on that router admin page. Props for sticking with it I guess, but yeah a quick text would've saved you like half your evening.
