Debate: Did that $80 password manager actually save my butt or just waste my cash?

You ever get one of those password manager ads that follows you around the internet like a sad ex? I bought a fancy one once out of spite after forgetting my Netflix password for the third time in a week. Turns out I just reset the password on a sticky note under my keyboard and never used the manager again. So yeah, my wallet took a hit but at least the ads finally left me alone.

Bought one of those password managers a couple years ago and spent a whole weekend moving all my logins over. Then my phone died and I couldn't remember the master password to save my life. Ended up resetting every account individually over the next three days. The sticky note under my keyboard method never let me down.
