Vent: I thought big cases meant wasted space until I moved my whole build into a 1998 Gateway tower

For 3 years I ran my Ryzen 7 5800X and RTX 3080 in a tiny mesh case and kept telling myself a big old tower would just be dead air and cable spaghetti. Then my buddy handed me his dad's beige 1998 Gateway tower from a garage in Akron, and I figured it would be a fun weekend project. The before and after hit me fast: same parts, but my GPU dropped from 79C under load to 61C, and the fans went from screaming to barely audible. What sold me was the drive bays, I fit a 240mm radiator up front with room to spare, plus two 3.5 inch drives for backups, stuff my old case could never hold. Six months later the only thing I miss is desk space, and honestly that is a fine trade. Anyone here running a sleeper with a front-mounted radiator, and did you have to trim the plastic fascia to get airflow?
