I got stuck trying to write a character who was too perfect
I was working on a story prompt about a hero, and my main guy had no flaws. It made the whole thing boring. I spent about four hours just staring at the page, trying to figure out why it felt flat. I finally fixed it by giving him a specific fear, like a fear of deep water from a childhood thing. Has anyone else had a character problem that took forever to solve?
