Had a old timer pull me aside at a gas plant years back and instead of telling me what to do he just asked why I did it that way. Made me walk him through every step out loud and about halfway through I heard myself and went oh. That was the whole lesson right there. Asking one good question beats handing out ten answers. Those 20 year guys can spot the gap in about 30 seconds but the ones worth listening to make you find it yourself. Bet that one thing he asked is still rattling around in your head.
