Close call yesterday thanks to our radio system
I was hoisting a steel beam when the radios cut out. The ground guy couldn't hear my stop signal. I mean, idk how this hasn't been fixed yet. Maybe it's just me but testing gear more often would help. Anyway, I yelled and used hand signs to avoid a drop.

Sean's point about gear checks being paperwork stuff is SO real. What's the biggest thing stopping your site from upgrading the radio system?

Wow, I used to think gear checks were just paperwork stuff, but hearing this totally changed my mind. That's terrifying.
